Re-inventing mobility!

Mobility Vision Lab

“The Future of Mobility”. Nowhere is this guiding principle of InnoTrans better reflected than at the Mobility Vision Lab (formerly Future Mobility Park). It is the central platform for innovative, visionary mass mobility at InnoTrans.

The Mobility Vision Lab offers trade visitors the opportunity to engage with tomorrow’s mobility concepts. The relevant visionaries and developers are on hand to personally present their ideas to the industry’s experts.

Exhibitors 2018:

Reimagine transportation: faster, less expensive, grid powered, on demand, and one system for commuter to trans-continental transit. Terreplane goes beyond high speed rail, maglev, hyperloop, jets, subways, busses, and autonomous cars; Terreplane's goals include 80% reductions in cost and travel time for portions of all these transportation sectors.

Forty millimeter diameter stationary zipline-type guideways replace highways, railway tracks, and the queues/waits at airports. Routing is easy above streets, railways, houses, undisturbed natural habitat, mountain hollows, and the widest of rivers.

Terreplane's patent-pending technology is based on wingless airfoil-shaped vehicles pulled along zipline-type guideways by propulsion carriages. An aligning of the pulling force between the carriage, vehicle, and zipline path results in only a pulling force on the zipline. Rather than swaying upwards, downwards, and sideways; a pulling force keeps the zipline straight and free of bumps. The combination allows for traveling 200, 400, even 800 km/hr just a few meters above the terrain.

The most-preferred infrastructure consists of zipline guidways supported like a suspended bridge between towers spaced at 0.4 to 2.0 km.

The Hyperloop™ Transportation System is an entirely new mode of transportation that eliminates all travel complications and objections due to cost, travel time and weather conditions. Traveling as fast as the speed of sound, the Hyperloop™ will be faster than today's conventional methods of transportation.

Completely self sufficient, solar panels placed along the track produce excess amounts of the energy that is actually required to run the system. The climate controlled capsule travels inside of a reinforced 'tube' pathway, rendering the Hyperloop™ Transportation System weather independent and earthquake safe thanks to the use of pylons.

MOON – mobility as a service, aims to reduce the land and resource consumption at least at factor 5 and the emissions caused by private cars. The lower costs of the technology of autonomous driving are obtainable in the economy starting 2021. This allows a highly attractive, sustainable and cost-effective ridesharing mobility service.

The barrier-free low-energy vehicles are available for short and long distance and complement the mobility options of public transport.
A new vehicle architecture and an identification system create trust and this makes sharing possible even with strangers.

NEXT Future Transportation is a road transportation system based on electric modular vehicles. The modules are able to physically couple and decouple each other creating a bus-like walkable open space that allows people and goods to move from one module to another, guaranteeing vehicle and trip customization for example with on demand service modules.

This unique feature guarantees a huge traffic, price, and efficiency optimization both in a human driving scenario and in a self-driving one.

SkyWay is an elevated over ground high-speed, urban and cargo transport system in which traffic is arranged on a track structure made of specially designed pre-stressed rails that are stretched between anchor supports. The rolling stock speed can compete with that of the airplane and its traffic is controlled automatically.

SkyWay technological advances the aim to solve ever-increasing transport problems such as traffic jams and consequently increased travel time, eliminate heavy mortality as a result of traffic accidents and avoid deterioration of the ecological situation.
